Dr Steve Niemiec, Chiropractor

25 years of experience in chiropractic wellness care and still more education for Dr. Steve…

One of our lofty goals when we opened Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness was to serve one million patients. Everyday I teach about health, wellness, and prevention while adjusting our patients and practice members. Patients need to understand the principles of health and how health and healing comes from within each and every one of us. Americans continue to look for outside answers like quick fix remedies that are often filled with false promises about health. Could I be the only one who experiences the side affects listed on the labels of medications? We know that chiropractic care has a positive side affect… improved function of the body… naturally.

I chose Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina because if its vitalistic philosophy about health and wellness. After graduating in September of 2001 with honors and receiving both the Milton W. Garfunkel Award, the highest award given at graduation and the Clinical Excellence Award for patient care, I set my endeavors on helping Dr. Kevin Phalen with developing and opening up a new concept in health care called Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness in Buffalo New York.

Our Philosophy

Yes, Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness is the name of our office, but it’s also a health and wellness philosophy too. We understand that people often seek us out for help after they lose their health by being OUT of BALANCE either physically, mentally, or chemically.

This happens often by either over-doing life or under-doing life. i.e. physical injury, stressed out can be over-doing life. On the other hand, inactivity, not caring about important matters can be under-doing life.

We address this by listening to you and your concerns and then apply it to our spinal specific adjusting technique and customized/personalized care plan centered more on Wellness Care than Relief Care. Find out how chiropractic care can help you!

On a Personal Note

When not at work, I volunteer on several community social and professional organizations in North Tonawanda, Amherst, and Buffalo that benefit all of Western New York. I enjoy giving back to my profession by serving as the District 8 President of the New York Chiropractic Council that covers Western New York. I am also a member of the International Chiropractors Association and serve as Past President of the Linwood Preservation District and Friends Association in Buffalo New York.
