Meet Our Staff

Nicholas, Chiropractic Assistant & DC2B
I graduated from Kenmore West High School and am working on my pre-chiropractic coursework at Buffalo State College. From there I intend on enrolling in a Chiropractic College and becoming the first Doctor of Chiropractic in my family.
I was first introduced to the Chiropractic care, after an unfortunate car accident when I was eleven years old. Since then I have learned of the numerous and variety of benefits from chiropractic care. As my spine improved and was surprized to notice that I no longer had acid reflux. Most people dont know that chiropractors can help that too when the problem is spinal nerve related.
While in high school, I took an Anatomy course that I excelled in and realized that maybe health care was the road I should take. Trying to decide on what field I should look into becoming a medical doctor, pharmaceuticals, and physical therapy, I later realized that chiropractic was a great route in natural healthcare.
Coincidentally after many months of unhappiness at my former job, I decided to check the local listings for a new part time occupation. While on Craigslist I stumbled across an ad for a career as a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant. Not knowing too much about the job but , I clicked on it and read up on what the career entailed. Well, here I am today running the front desk helping people under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Kevin and Dr. Steve.
While working our office, I can get a hands on look at managing an office and what being a doctor of chiropractor is all about. Not only will this help me when I open my practice, but also in school. Aside from work and my studies, I enjoy playing soccer, enjoying some of the local Buffalo hot spots, watching movies and hanging out with my Chihuahua Pug Baxter!

Mike, Chiropractic Assistant, Intern & DC2B
I’m originally from Rochester, New York and moved here to attend the University at Buffalo majoring in Exercise Science. Well, four years later and I finally graduated. I love the people and doctors at Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness. It truly has changed my life.
I have a dilemma though, I cannot figure out where to attend chiropractic college. I get excited all the schools yet each one is so different. I know my parents would like to go to New York Chiropractic College cause its close to home. Dr. Steve, Dr. Kevin, Dr. Katelyn and the doctors of the New York Chiropractic Council want me to go to Sherman College of Chiropractic because of the educational focus on wellness and prevention for families. And well, Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta Georgia seems like quite an exciting fun place. Please help me! Im so confused! I just cant figure it out and time is running out!
I have known that I wanted to be a doctor of chiropractic since I was in the 8th grade. I injured my back playing sports and my hometown chiropractor fixed back pain by giving me a spinal adjustment. That first spinal adjustment so cool, that it was at that exact moment that I knew that I wanted to help people who were facing the same problem I had. Exercise and health is very important to me, and I’ve experienced first hand how back problems can severely limit your ability to stay in good shape, which is why I think that going into Chiropractic is the perfect profession for me.
It’s awesome working here (even though Dr. Steve, Dr. Kevin, and Nick think they are so cool picking on me) mainly because I’m learning the stuff they can’t teach you in school, the ins and outs of the business aspect of running my own practice someday. When I’m not working in the office I like to properly enjoy my Senior year of college. I work out, and hang out with my friends, and of course, watch Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the best show ever made. LOL.

Hello patients of Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness sorry I dont have a picture yet!
I’m Caitlin, I also graduated from the University of Buffalo in the Exercise Science department.
I’ve known since the age of seven that I’ve wanted to be a chiropractor. My wonderful parents starting taking me to my first chiropractor at a very young age, and fourteen years later I am still having regular adjustments by the same childhood doctor.
Being an energy filled individual I was always an avid sports player and a very klutzy person. My chiropractor performed routine adjustments to correct my spinal misalignments also known as subluxations. At the same time my generalized visceral (internal) aches went away.
Chiropractic care is useful for just about everyone for natural relief to correction and wellness! It really hasn't hit me yet at just how much I have learned form Dr. Kevin and Dr. Steve. I am undecided about chiropractic college with only a few months away. Dr. Kevin and Dr. Steve are betting that I will go wherever Mike goes.

I am excited to have graduated from New York Chiropractic College. I am currently looking at different chiropractic career opportunities for me in North Carolina and Michigan.
I started off my undergraduate career at the University at Buffalo pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy; over the past few years I came to the realization that PT wasn’t the career for me. I learned that chiropractic care had more to offer people with a wide variety of health concerns. This is something I firmly believe in, and see proof of every day at the office. I started receiving Chiropractic care and so far it’s done wonders for me! It makes me wonder why I waited so long to start care!
I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to shadow Dr. Steve and Dr. Kevin March 2006 as I was researching a career as a doctor of chiropractic. Meeting them, and being in the office, was just a perfect fit for me. Being at Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness as a Chiropractic Intern is quite challenging. Aside from starting off with front office work and patient services, the doctors have taught me a lot about health how the body works and that people seek out care for wellness and relief, furthering my interest in the field.
A little bit about me… I was born in Michigan and moved to Buffalo with my family when I was about four years old, and thus far most of my traveling has been to Michigan to visit the rest of my family. I am planning a trip next summer so see some of the states in the Western United States to expand the list of states I’ve been to.
I’m extremely proud of my height, measuring 6’ ¼” making it no surprise that the most common question I’ve been asked throughout my life is; “Do you play Basketball?” Everyone always seems so let down when I tell them the answer is no, I prefer to swim.
Outside of working with our doctors, my hobbies include being with my family and special times my mom. I also enjoy, cooking and baking for others, swimming, and singing in the Buffalo Schwaben Choir.

I love chiropractic adjustments. I am in my 60's and do my best to keep up with the world. I really enjoy filling in at Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness when needed. I also help out as a receptionist greeting people at McAuley Residence.
It's so cool watching people smile and feel good about themselves after being checked for subluxations and receiving spinal adjustments. Meeting people and sharing our lives is very satisfying. I first became acquainted with chiropractic when my son now, Dr. Steve, managed a large chiropractic office.
It was in the early 1990's. My husband George had health problems. His visits to the office were a blessing as they helped him function better while having serious health issues. So, I started getting adjusted also as I had severe headaches at the time. I was in my 50's and who could resist after seeing first hand the way my husband responded to care.
In 2001 an opportunity came for me to work for my son, Dr. Steve. I wanted to help be part of creating something wonderful, at a brand new chiropractic office.
Outside of work I enjoy swimming and walking along with traveling. The area casinos are also a fun pastime. I can hear the nickel slots calling me now! Aside from keeping my son in line, I love my cat's Albert (a.k.a. Fat Albert) and Einstein (a.k.a. Puffy) who by the way are very over the top spoiled.

Meet Dr. Adam McCrea
Well if you haven’t seen me at the office recently that’s because I graduated from New York Chiropractic College and opened a chiropractic practice. I am married Kimberly McCormick in November of 2006. I promise Dr. Steve that I will visit but cant muster up the energy to do so.
I am originally from a small town outside of Rochester called Hamlin and went to Brockport High School. I graduated from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science in May of 2005.
My hobbies and activities include country music, wakeboarding, boating, snowmobiling, football, baseball, exercising and of course studying for school.
I was excited to have experienced Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness as an intern and by getting spinal adjustments to help me with stress, focus better and feel life more whether its flexibility, strength and mental well being. It also helped improve my posture while sitting and driving.
I decided to be become a doctor of chiropractic because I wanted to be involved in health care but only on a natural level, instead of having surgeries or taking a variety of medications.

Dr. Kate
There had to be a more natural way to health and wellness.
I too graduated from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls New York.
I was fortunate enough to get accepted into an internship at Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness, I heard that I had some be shoes to fill after being only their second Intern. Thankfully the University of Buffalo has extension faculty in my field of interest, being a doctor of chiropractic. I have found the experience at Balanced Living Chiropractic Wellness to be better than I could ever imagine.
From my first visit here I could see that both Dr. Kevin and Dr. Steve are eager to teach me, as well as their Western New York area patients, as much as they can about Chiropractic Wellness.
I decided on a to become doctor of chiropractic after a personal experience with natural medicine. After struggling with chronic fatigue for many years and not finding any answers or results with traditional medicine, I sought out the care of a Naturopathic doctor and a Chiropractor. Now, one year of being healthier than I thought I could be again, I see the value of natural health and wellness care. I only wish I had gotten here sooner and wish others would understand that its easier to take the steps to stay well than it is to get well.
I love to travel and want to go to Europe. I often visit my parents at home in Ellicottville, but never seem to get as much downhill skiing in as I would like!
